How to apply for net metering connection?
Here is checklist for filing net metering applications:
- Distributed Generation Interconnection Agreement between Distributed
Generator and Distribution Company (Schedule-I) - Standard Distributed Generation Application Form For Distribution Company
(Schedule-II) - Application for grant of License National Electric Power Regulatory Authority
(NEPRA) (Schedule-III) - Application for Exemption from section 24 of the Act (Schedule-IV)
- Fee Schedule (Schedule-V)
- Affidavit (On non-judicial paper) (Schedule-VI)
- Generation License Template (Schedule-VII)
- Attested copy of CNIC.
- Copy of last paid electricity bill. (Name of applicant and name mentioned on
electricity bill must be same). - Technical Data of components including solar modules, invertors, etc.
- Schematic drawings, Single line diagram of the system.
- Site plan showing location of external disconnect switch.
- Inspection of Electrical Installation Certificate Signed by authorized Engineer of
AEDB Certified Company as per direction of AEDB issued vide letter No. B/3/1/Net
Met/09 dated 13-02-2018.
Note:
- Only consumers having 3 phase meters installed at their premises are eligible for net
metering facility. - Upto 5 kW capacity single phase inverters are allowed.
- If capacity of net metering facility is more than 5 kW then only 3 phase inverters are allowed.
- The inverters must be of grid-tied type.
- Maximum allowed capacity for net metering facility is 1.5 times of sanctioned load.
- Complete Application according to check list as mentioned above be submitted in office of
Manager (Marketing & Tariff), LESCO HQ, 22-A, Queens Road, Lahore.
