Old vs New Meter

LESCO may replace any old meter with the new one in different cases like meter too old, meter got damaged or the meter stopped working properly. Many people complain that their new meter runs faster, but the question is do the new meter really run faster and consumes more units as compared to old meter?

The answer is "NO"! It is not true that the new meter runs faster, but the fact is the new meter runs normal and counts consumed units perfectly however if you notice increase in bill, then possibly your old meter was slow or not functioning properly therefore you were getting less bill before.

So, the new meters are absolutely fine.
